Applications

The device is used for the intrinsically safe voltage supply and the electrical separation of the output signal from explosion protected transmitters.
The repeater power supply provides an intrinsically safe auxiliary voltage of DC 16.5 V. The isolating transformer dc decouples the intrinsically safe output signal of the repeater power supply, allowing the use of downstream devices without intrinsically safe input outside the explosive zone.
