Description
The two-wire transmitters are intended to connect pH or Redox single-rod electrodes to push-in heads of display / control devices with an active 4 ... 20mA input.
On the output side, the 2-wire transmitters are equipped with a common voltage supply and standard signal connection. For pH single-rod electrodes, the zero point and the slope are adjusted at the display / control device. Equalization is not required for Redox single-rod electrodes. The impedance transformer is directly screw-fitted onto the electrode head of the single-rod electrode.
This largely prevents malfunctions resulting from soiling, moisture or electrical interference of current carrying cables. A commercially available coax cable or a 2-wire screen control cable is sufficient as connection cable between a 2-wire transmitter and an indicator.
This allows larger distances between a 2-wire transmitter and an indicator without problems.
Where transmitters are connected to a PLC, we recommend the use of an electrically isolated voltage supply.
Type 202701/10 für pH
The 2-wire transmitter transforms the high Ohm signal of the pH electrode (up to 1000 MOhm) into a standard signal (4 ... 20mA).
Type 202701/20 for Redox
The 2-wire transmitter transforms the signal of the Redox electrode into a standard signal (4 ... 20mA).
